Welcome to The Perfect Press, due to the corona virus as many of you know I have been closed due to the lock down since March, I am having to change the way I would have normally run my business by adding a lot more safety requirements to protect my customers and my business.
I am hoping to resume new bookings from the 1st July 2020 at the earliest, which you can now book using the online calendar on my website and is available 24 hours a day.
Could you please follow the listed guidelines below before booking an appointment, if you have any queries at all please contact me by email at info@theperfectpress.com or via chat on my website or phone.
If you are showing symptoms of Corona Virus or have had it or been tested recently or anyone in your house hold who may come under one of the categories above, please follow the Governments guidelines on isolating and wait to book an appointment.
(You can contact me if you have come under one of the above categories if it hasn't been recent and your recovered so I can review the situation before an appointment is made).
If you have been to a foreign country in the last 14 days please wait to book an appointment and follow Governments guidelines on isolating before booking an appointment for a later date.
Turn around will now be 72 hours and not 48 hours from the time I collect your ironing to delivering it back to you, for the first 24 hours your items will now be aired before any steam is used. This reduces the risk of passing any viruses on when I am handling the items my end, even though your clothes have been washed and most viruses are killed in hot washes 60 degrees and over, and using a tumble dryer to dry clothes etc is also beneficial if you have one as it kills most germs in hot heat.
(Do not worry if you can't follow the washing and drying advice above as I will be airing your items my self for the first 24 hours as an extra safety precaution, from the time I collect your ironing from you)
My work area will be deep cleaned daily and all my equipment that is used will be cleaned between each customers bookings, I will also be wearing protective gear whilst working and gloves to protect myself and your items, hangers will still be supplied and will be sanitised before returning your items or you can still use your own hangers and they will also be sanitised my end for extra safety before they are returned to you.
Due to the longer time scale I am having to take less bookings each week, still Monday to Saturday but appointments will be staggered and not more than two in one day so that you still get the Perfect ironing you want, and from a safety point of view i am not having as many clothes waiting to be ironed in one room, so the calendar online will show you the availability if you are wishing to book.
Collections & deliveries will all be social distanced, ideally if you have a safe place for me to collect from and deliver back to if you could make me aware when you have booked your collection slot, or to leave out side your front door just before your appointment so I can just pick up and drop off without coming into contact with any of you.
Most of you have had already fabric protective carriers or fabric storage boxes for folded items, if you can please carry on re using them and if you are wanting a collection to use the box or carriers provided from me to collect your ironing, so that I am not having your laundry baskets, bags etc and more risk of germs being on them.
I will not be bringing my own bag to collect ironing anymore, so please use what I have already provided you with in the past or if you haven't got enough room to use a plastic bag I can dispose off, it keeps it to one method and hopefully less likely to hold germs as long.
(if your protective carriers or boxes are not in a good way or damaged I can replace them for you please make me aware once you have booked your collection)
If you are a new customer you will receive protective carriers and storage boxes once you have had your first service delivered, so it is probably best to put your ironing in a plastic bag which I can dispose off, (not a bag you will be wanting back) and then you can use the protective carriers and storage boxes for future bookings.
(I will not be using any plastic or cardboard boxes to return your items in from now on).
Payments are all to be done online, once I send you your invoice by email which you used when making the booking the link is on the invoice and directs you how to pay.
Your invoice will be sent via email 48 hours before your items are due to be delivered back to you, I will arrange the delivery time when you first book your appointment by email and not at collection anymore.
All online payments will need to be paid before your delivery time and I will email you a receipt once paid.
(I am afraid I can not take cash payments or card payments manually anymore due to social distancing).
Thank you for your Cooperation, and with the above new safety measures put in place from the 1st July 2020 I am hoping to carry on providing perfectly pressed ironing to you all.
Kind Regards
The Perfect Press
